The origin of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts festival trace back to the 1999. However, it was only a two days event. At first, the Coachella was held as a one day event in 2001. Later in 2002, it was again held as two days event. However, due to higher demand, the event was set up for three days 2007. Eventually, organizers decided to hold the event within second weekend in 2012. However, currently it is held on three weekend days in April.
